Travel Theme: Close up

Baby Grand was 13 months old
and rode his little chariot everywhere.
He had a special affinity with the horses,
they seemed to love him.
Here he trundled right up under the pregnant belly of Madonna
to reach up and stroke her.
The two mares stood quietly,
patiently,
until he trundled off looking for more adventure.

  1. Ah, what a precious photo, Charlene! I love that. People who don’t understand horses might think it was dangerous, but I know. He’s going to love this photo when he’s grown up. 🙂

    • Thanks George, it is one of my favourites :-). He had such a special effect on all the horses, even the stallions, they simply stopped in their tracks and gently smelled him and let him touch and wander around them. Heart-stopping at times, but they loved him! The bike made such a noise, so they were never startled, but heard him coming. Precious!
